This position came as an extension and internal promoting opportunity were I could support G&D worldwide customers with their Over-The-Air Platforms that enable several services, such as, Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) life-cycle management, Mobile Device Management and NFC Payments. Main Tasks were: Handle G&D customers support cases using SAP for internal ticket management; Install patches and solutions upgrades; Act as lead engineer for specific customers, providing a focused support with deep knowledge of its particular solution. A personal decision was made to quit this position and accept one awarded scholarship to study abroad in The Netherlands.

My main responsibility was to be in charge with the connection between customer and sales department. This role was divided into two phases: 1st one, working as support on-site for the biggest G&D customer in Brazil, both in engineering and operations departments. We achieved an overall performance increase by the application of specific scripts for their needs. 2nd one, working for the pre-sales department. Supporting G&D new opportunities by analyzing potential Request for Proposal/Information (RFP/RFI) documents. For both phases, several solution presentations delivered on-site to customers or potential customers.

My tasks were related to bookkeeping the repository by the use of Oracle SQL Developer tool and make small UNIX installations. In this role I was introduced to the telecommunications service business and achieved a good systemic view of the GSM structure in the end.

Working on IT support for one University television broadcaster. My tasks were related to the online broadcasting service and the local area network administration (LAN). That included UNIX and Windows computers.

The object of this project was to design and implement proof-of-concept data science tools for Philips Research that will be applied into their new Digital Portfolio. More precisely, I developed a data management application that will facilitate the HTS Business Group, an internal BG inside Philips. The importance of this work was related to the company new direction into HealthTech business, which means that the final application of this project is adding value to the core of Philips new strategies.
